Let your dreams be your wings.

Good morning and welcome to my blog.

"I’m so excited to share a new creative page.

This is my latest scrapbook project!

Scrapbooking has always been one of my favorite ways to capture memories and tell stories.

I post a new layout here weekly, as I create them throughout the week.

Whether you’re an experienced scrapbooker or someone curious to start, I’d love for you to join me on my blog.

Just follow me, and you will be able to get the full step-by-step instructions and photos to create your own.

My hope is that this project inspires you to dust off your own photos and keepsakes and start telling your story in a way that feels creative and personal.

So grab your scissors, washi tape, and a cup of tea—let’s make something beautiful together!

For this project, I used Rosie's Beautiful Dreamer. I created a double-page layout.

You make life wonderful.

Good morning from a beautiful Spring morning in Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa..

We have had a particularly cold winter, so I am happy for a nice, sunny morning that doesn't chill you to the bone.

There’s something magical about turning into something beautiful and useful.
This week, I’ve been working on a double-page layout.
I am excited to finally share it with you!
This double-page layout brought me so much joy. I went back to basics in a way.
I’ll walk you through how I made it and share a few tips.

The product I used is called Serendipity - Penelope Dee

You make life wonderful.

    Photos: 4 x 4 x 6” (10 x 15 cm) portrait/upright and a 3” (7.8 x 7.8 cm) squared photo for the frame.

Paper: 2 x white patterns (background pages), 2 x dark blue patterns, 2 x light blue (for matting the photos), 2 x blue floral, and ½ pages of 3 different blue patterns. ( I used Penelope Dee Serendipity)

Embellishments:

6 x Flowers (different shades of blue), 2 x chipboard titles, 1 x chipboard frame, 1 x butterfly and fussy cut elements/ ephemera..

Assemble the pages:

  •  Color all the chippies. I used Ranger Oxides – Faded Jeans.
  •  Arrange the 2 background pages next to each other.
  • · Use the blue floral and cut 2 pieces 10 x 8 ¼” (25.3 x 21 cm).
  •  Stick this on the pages right against the center edges and about 2” (5cm) from the top edges.
  • Use the dark blue pattern and cut 2 pieces 9 ½ x 7 ¼”(24.2 x 17.8cm)
  • Stick these pieces on the floral also against the center edge.  Making sure you have even borders on the 3 sides.
  • Use the frame chippie and line it with any pattern piece you prefer. Just leave one side open for you to slide the photo in.
  • Use all 4 the photos and mat it on the light blue pattern 4 ¼ x 6 ¼ “(10.5 x 15.5 cm).
  • Add the small photo inside the chippie frame.
  • Make the hexagon shapes using different color patterns for this. You will need about 16.
  • Stick these on the page as shown.
  •   Add the chippies, flowers, and the rest of the embellishments as shown in the picture.

Never Stop Dreaming - Celebr8 - Moonlit dreaming

Hello, fellow bloggers and creative souls!

I’m excited to share this special page from my scrapbook, where memories come to life through photos, mementos, and heartfelt stories.

This page captures a beautiful theme, "NEVER STOP DREAMING," and it holds a special place in my heart.

As you scroll through the page, you'll find a mix of colors, textures, and personal touches. I hope this inspires you to create your own scrapbook page filled with treasures that tell your story.

Let’s embark on this creative journey together!

Today I want to share a single-page layout with you.

Never stop dreaming

Moonlit Dreaming (Celebr8)

Single Page by Ada Nicholls

Photo size: 4 x 6 " ( 10 x 15 cm) portrait

Pho

Flowers – 2 small dark blue, 2 x small cream, and 2 x medium cream.

Rhinestones – small gold for the center of the little flowers in the patterned paper.

Paper I used Celebr8 Moonlit Dreams. (See a guideline at the bottom of the page.)

  • · Use the Cream/blue zig-zag pattern as the background page.
  • · Use the fussy cut sheet and cut out all the elements you want to use.
  • · I used the round frame and cut the inside out to create a frame on my     page.
  •  Use the feather pattern and cut a piece 3 ½ x 12 “. (9 x 30.5cm).
  •  Stick this piece on the left side of the page against the edge.
  • · TIP:  Always keep the advertising strips. There could be nice strips or wording on it.
  •  I used a strip with stars on it from one of these sheets and stuck it on the right side of the feather pattern.
  •  Use the zig-zag pattern and cut out 2 strips. Stick these on the feather pattern on the left next to the star strip.
  • Use the cream pattern (inside the square frame) and cut a piece 4 ¼ x 6 ¼”  (10.7 x 15.8 cm )
  • Use this piece to mat your photo on.
  • Use the dark blue pattern and cut a piece 4 ½ x 6 ½” (11.5 x 16.5 cm),
  • Matt the photo on this piece. You should have 2 mats on your photo. (Cream and Blue).
  • You can now embellish your page with elements from the fussy cut sheet and the word sheets.

Sharing some close-ups of the elements on the page:

Sun Drenched - Double page layout - Celebr8 Ocean Breeze

Hello, fellow bloggers and creative enthusiasts!

Scrapbooking is a passion of mine, and I love to share my layouts with other scrapbook creators who are also passionate about the hobby.

As a scrapbook enthusiast, this art form not only allows for creativity but also serves as a beautiful way to preserve memories. Whether it's a family vacation, a special birthday, or just everyday moments, scrapbooking helps me tangibly capture those fleeting times.

I love experimenting with different themes, colors, and embellishments to create unique pages. It's also a great way to express different moods and styles. One of the best parts is that there are no rules—every scrapbook is a reflection of its creator!

Through my blog, I hope to share tips, ideas, and inspiration for fellow scrapbook creators. From layout designs and material reviews to sharing my latest projects, I aim to create a community where we can exchange ideas and encourage each other in our scrapbooking journeys. I can't wait to showcase my passion for this wonderful craft!
