Just like clockwork
Photo sizes: 1 x 4 x 6" portrait and 3 x 3 x 3" squared.
You will need:
- 2 x cream background pages, 1/2 each pastel pink and blue, 1 x cream and 2 x pages with fussy cut elements.
- Chipboard clock and gears.
- 4 cream flowers.
- All the photos can be matted. I add 1/4" for the matting.
Cut the mattings as follows:
- 1 x 4 1/4 x 6 1/4 " for the portrait photo and 3 x 3 1/4 x 3 1/4" for the smaller
- I fussy cut all the paper elements for this page to do all the layering.
- Use patterned paper and cut 2 strips each measuring 1 1/2". Tear the top and bottom edges. (about 1 "after tearing.
- Arrange the 2 background pages next to each other and add the strips at the top about 2" from the top edge.
- Make sure it lines up on the top of the pages.
- Add the photos at the top as shown in the picture.
- Use the cream pattern and cut 2 strips each measuring 1/2". Add at the bottom of the page.
- See the bottom of this page for the 2 strips - place it across the page and then cut it at the center.
This is a close-up of the left side of the page. The strips at the top left of the page are pieces of 2 x 4" and 3/4 x 4" respectively which I folded in half. This just creates a little bit of depth on the page.
Tips:
- When you fussy cut, move the piece you are cutting not the scissors - it will make it easier.
- Chalk or distress all the edges of the pieces.
Remember:
Scrapping is a personal choice, always choose colors and themes that will work with your photographs.
This is just a guideline to help you create the layout of your choice.
