Today I am sharing a double-page layout with you.
I used Celebr8's "Ocean Breeze" collection for this layout, but you can use any collection in your stash.
And always remember you can determine the theme by your paper collection.
Use this layout as inspiration.
Fun in the Sun
Photos: 4 x 4 x 6" portrait
Paper: 2 x patterned sheets for the background pages. (I used a wood grain pattern.
- 2 x patterned sheets for the next layer ( I used a lighter blue)
- 2 x blue patterned sheets for matting the photo and for use on the page.
- 1 x Floral sheet.
- 2 x brown/blue patterned sheets for matting the photos on.
- 1 x patterned sheet with elements to fussy cut.
- 1 x patterned sheet with elements and words.
- The background pages are both 12 x 12". Arrange these next to each other.
- Use the lighter blue paper and cut a piece 9 3/4 x 6 3/4". Stick this on the left page about 2 3/4" from the top edge and right against the right edge.
- Use the floral paper and cut a piece 1 x 9 3/4". Stick this piece above the lighter blue pattern and right against the right edge.
- Double matt the photos. Photo are 4 x 6".
- First matting will be 4 1/4 x 6 1/4"
- Second matting will be 4 1/2 x 6 1/2".
- Stick 2 photos on the left page.
- Refer to the photo of the page for placement.
Second layering of the double page.
- Use the lighter blue pattern and cut a piece 4 1/2 x 6 3/4". Stick this piece on the right background page. Make sure it lines up with the piece on the left page.
- Use the blue pattern paper and cut a piece 8 x 12".
- Stick this piece on the right page right at the top edge and about 2 1/4" from the left edge.
- Use the floral paper and cut a piece 1 x 2 1/4".
- Stick this piece on the right page against the left edge and right above the lighter blue pattern.
- Double matt the photos. Photo are 4 x 6".
- First matting will be 4 1/4 x 6 1/4"
- Second matting will be 4 1/2 x 6 1/2".
- Stick 2 photos on the right page.
- Refer to the picture of the page for placement of the photos.
